Bachelor Thesis: Automating Authenticity - A Digital Service for Verifying Official Documents
This work focuses on developing a digital authenticity service for official documents to be implemented at i-Hub. The service aims to replace the current manual process, where employees had to scan documents using mobile devices to verify their authenticity. This process is currently time-consuming and error-prone, as the required signatures vary significantly by country and document type, often necessitating specific scanners or QR code apps.
The planned service will function as a central interface, integrating and automating various public authenticity verification options. In response, it will simply indicate whether the document is authentic. The solution should be designed to not only increase the efficiency and security of the authenticity verification process but also to be extensible and maintainable, allowing it to adapt flexibly to future requirements.
