image-left The Software Engineering 2020 (SE 20) conference of the Software Engineering Division of the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) and the Österreichische Computer Gesellschaft (OCG) was organized under the leadership of assoz. Prof. Dr. Michael Felderer from 24.02.20 to 28.02.20 in Innsbruck at the Hotel Grauer Bär. The conference was a great success with almost 200 participants. The SE has established itself in the German-speaking world as the leading annual platform for exchange and collaboration in all areas of software engineering. It shows the high national and international visibility of QE in the research area of software engineering in general and of assoz. Prof. Dr. Michael Felderer in particular. In the main scientific program, SE 20 offered a “best-of” of papers recently published in leading international journals and conferences by German-speaking authors. In addition, tracks on research methods and technology transfer in software engineering were organized. Furthermore, five collocated events were organized within the framework of SE 20, namely workshops on Automotive Software Engineering (ASE 20), Avionics Systems and Software Engineering (AvioSE 20), Evolution and Management of Long-Lived Systems (EMLS 20), and Requirements Management in Enterprise Systems Projects (AESP 20), and the conference Software Engineering in Higher Education (SEUH 20).
